Race Report Sat 3rd May
A record breaking day in the hills
A massive day on the Stuc and in Strathyre as both male and female records were broken on a cracking day. Ross Gollan came in at 2:04:21 and took a good bite out of the existing 2:06:20 and Naomi Lang (Carnethy Hill Racing) came in at 2:22:11 taking a large chunk out of the existing 2:34:27.
The first 3 men (Ross Gollan, East Sutherland Athletics Club), Finlay Grant 02:04:38 (Dark Peak Fell Runners, and Ewan Brown 02:05:46 (Corstorphine AAC) all broke the previous record and just 17 seconds between 1st and 2nd.
2nd place in the females was Catriona Graves 2:37:56 (Highland Hill Runners) just outside of her own previous record. 3rd was Grace Pow 2:41:45 (Carnethy Hill Racing)
