Marshals and marking 2011

The course is being marked on Thursday and Friday (28th & 29th April 2011).

There is a Marshals meeting in the Inn at Strathyre on Friday at 2100 hrs.

Marshals muster on Saturday is at the Inn at Strathyre Hotel at 0900 hrs.

Underfoot conditions will be posted here. Check the main page for a weather outlook. To refresh your memory, last year was generally firm, usual wet bits still wet, but the course was drier than usual. There were no natural changes to the course, and there were two changes to the course - one at the one small change at the Crossover Point to avoid the wet patch.

One week ahead, the outlook is looking good, but remember that old cliché "the weather can change so quickly in the Scottish Mountains". According to some web sites, little or no rain is forecast for Friday (weather forecast dependant, as usual), and Saturday is also looking dry. Light breeze with occasional cooling gusts. But then again, I said that last year!
